TWO of the best travel experiences in Western Australia have been combined in a new budget tour by Manly-based Sirius Encounters. The seven-day tour begins at Monkey Mia with a chance to see the dolphins, followed by a three-day, four-wheel drive safari through the Kennedy Ranges.
There will be time for a cruise into the Yardie Creek Gorge, and a swim at Coral Bay on the way to Exmouth. Then you'll spend two days snorkelling with whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef.

SINCE 1988 Great Australian Walks has led wilderness walks throughout Australia, specialising in NSW heritage tracks and national parks.
Most of the walks are supported by four-wheel drives and have no backpacking. All accommodation or camping is in natural bush settings.
A four-day walk at Barrington Tops, 280 km north of Sydney, costs $395 from Gloucester. The walk is scenic, with no hard climbs, and time for swimming.
In Tasmania, you can experience an eight-day walk along the Overland Track from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair for $730-$860, depending on whether you carry your own gear or not.

FOOTY fever is set to grip Australia again with the launch of the 1994 Aussie Rules season. AFL Travel and Ansett have combined to offer a series of special Home and Away packages for this year's matches.
The packages include one night's twin-share accommodation, ground entry and a reserve seat ticket to the game. Each package must then be combined with an Ansett air fare.
